Krill are small crustaceans found within the world’s oceans. Krill are near the bottom of the world’s food chain, seen as food by many of the globe’s marine creatures. Krill are rich in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, meaning they are manufactured into supplements for human consumption.
What are the krill oil side effects?
Overall, krill oil should be used as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. Side effects from krill oil are very rare but are generally the same as fish oil. Side effects include stomach discomfort, decreased appetite, taste change, heartburn, bloating and gas. What types of omega-3s are there?

- EPA - eicosapentaenoic acid

What amount of omega-3s do I need?
